What evidence of injury is necessary to recover damages in a Florida auto accident case?

Return to FAQ Videos

By law you have to have expert testimony about your injuries before you can recover for those injuries. Typically in an accident you’re going to have an injury, it can orthopedic, it can be neurological, but whatever those injuries are, you will begin your care and treatment with a physician and at the conclusion of that care and treatment there is a report typically issued which will detail the injury and whether or not it’s permanent and that individual typically will testify or at least provide information to an insurance company so you can prove that permanent injury.
